Great, You Sold The House, But What About All The Furniture?

So I sold another home in Greenbriar of Clearwater.   After my seller signed a full-price offer, he said, “great, you sold the house, but what about all the furniture?”

I said, “what do you mean.”

He said, “we don’t want anything in the house.”

This was a home the seller inherited from his uncle, and he had no use for the furniture, I knew we could call The Salvation Army, Good Will, or Veteran’s Donation.  Then it hit me, my parents lost everything in a house fire.

I asked the seller if I could offer the furniture, kitchen items, etc to them.  He said they can take whatever they like.  I sent my mom pictures & videos of the house, she was very interested.

My mom ended up driving from Georgia one weekend & we packed up the house, just like we were moving.  It did feel a bit weird packing up & taking someone else’s furniture, but I said to my mom look the house is sold & the retired seller already has what he needs.  After all, the house was sold & everything had to be moved out.

God works in mysterious ways! I sold the house, removed all the contents, & a family in need was blessed with so many useful items.  Everyone received something in the end. This was not just about a house selling, it was prayers & needs met.

Both my parents must have thanked me at 5-6 times.  I didn’t do this, someone else did.  Shout out to Richard & Marion Savitt, you have no idea how much you helped a family in need.
