20 Years Ago This Week I Decided To Change Markets, From Clearwater to Tampa

Even though I grew up in Clearwater, I would visit Tampa as a child.  My stepfather had 10 brothers & sisters, plus his parents lived in Tampa.  Over the years we visited Hyde Park, Davis Islands, Ybor City & other great nearby areas.  

I loved the charm of the Bungalows, Hyde Park Village, Bayshore Blvd, &  the Davis Islands community.  When I earned my real estate license at 19, I would show South Tampa properties from time to time.  After 17 years of helping families buy/sell homes, I decided I wanted to move to South Tampa.  

I was looking for a change, & wanted to challenge myself, to focus on a different market. I joined a Developer, L.I.S.T. Realty.  “Land In South Tampa” was located in the heart of Hyde Park.   They built many townhomes all over South Tampa, & were the best in the business!  I sold many of their quality townhomes, & worked hard helping buyers & sellers.  

20 years have flown by, and I look back thinking, this was one the best decisions I ever made.  I’m looking forward to 20 more years.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Clearwater & actually still service the Beaches, St Pete & Clearwater.  I love Tampa Bay real estate & the lifestyle it provides us.
